Experience the new 2017.1 release in production! As an Early Adopter participant, you will receive the new enhancements to Adaptive Planning, Consolidation, Discovery, Integration and OfficeConnect ahead of general availability. For the upcoming release, this means you can access all the new features on December 10, about 5 weeks earlier than most customers.

The goals of the Early Adopter program include customer/partner feedback as well as working within a production environment with the goal of going live with their implementation.

The goal of the Beta program is to provide Adaptive Insights customers and partners a sandbox environment for testing and feedback purposes on functionality.

This exciting new feature provides a visual representation of your planning model. It gives you the ability to visually depict the interrelationships between model building blocks such as sheets, assumptions, and accounts. Use cases for this feature include helping new Adaptive users understand how data flows across the model and aiding managers in explaining how the model works to new planners.


Modeled Sheet definitions can now be downloaded and uploaded in Sheet Administration, making it easier to copy sheets between instances and models.



This feature allows users to apply an Excel formula to an offline Adaptive Planning sheet and push the resolved value back to the server while retaining the formula in the offline sheet.


In the 2016.2 release, we introduced the Multiple Versions on Sheets feature to enable users to compare different planning versions within



In addition to displaying report notes inline or as footnotes, users now have the option to display notes in the right-most column of a report.



This new feature allows process owners to define a guided and ordered to-do list for novice or occasional users of Adaptive Planning. The Process Guide includes links directly to the location of the model where their work is required.



Journal entries can now automatically reverse in the subsequent period. This will be helpful for users who post journal entries in the closing period and need to reverse them in the following fiscal period to avoid double-counting, if the original journal is posted back in the source system in the following period.
